About The Fayre
The Country Fayre is all about raising much needed funds for Rotary supported charities, and having a great day out at the same time. This event is organised by the registered charity Rotary Club of Kimbolton Castle Trust Fund (charity registration number- 1081970).
The Fayre is held in the grounds of Kimbolton Castle – now the home of Kimbolton School. This historic castle was where Queen Catherine of Aragon was incarcerated by her notorious husband, King Henry Vlll, until her death in January 1536. The castle was the seat of the Dukes of Manchester until the purchase by Kimbolton School in 1950.
The Fayre is jointly organised by volunteers from the Rotary Club of Kimbolton Castle and the Sporting Bears Motor Club and provides a fantastic day out for people of all ages and interests. Visitors arrive from far and wide to see the shows and displays and particularly the huge classic car rally.
